ICBA, CBAI and Dell Announce Member Purchase Plan Benefitting Community Banks
Washington, D.C. (Nov. 20, 2015) — The Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA), and Dell announced an agreement providing benefits to community banks. Through this relationship, CBAI bank members will be able to take advantage of preferred pricing on computer equipment such as workstations, servers and laptops.
“Like any business, community banks rely on quality computing hardware,” said ICBA Executive Vice President of Services Dan Clancy. “The launch of this program is timely because many community banks make fourth-quarter IT and computer purchases, and with the upcoming holiday season, employees can also take advantage of the program for their personal purchases.”
“It is important to have technology in place that effectively helps Illinois community banks and customers thrive,” said CommunityBancService Corporation President Mike Kelley. “Through this agreement, CBAI member banks can have confidence knowing they received the best possible pricing on vital business equipment.”
Hardware covered under the agreement includes workstations, laptops, ultrabooks, desktops, servers, printers, electronics and accessories as well as services and software. CBAI members will also have access to a dedicated account executive familiar with ICBA’s program who will advocate for them with appropriate Dell teams, including technical experts from all of Dell’s brands and product lines.
“Access to new technology solutions that support future growth is critical to companies of all sizes,” said Dell Executive Director of Global Marketing Geraldine Tunnell. “Dell is pleased to work with organizations such as ICBA to help provide an affordable and convenient way to acquire the technology solutions they need to grow their businesses.”
The Independent Community Bankers of America®, the nation’s voice for more than 6,000 community banks of all sizes and charter types, is dedicated exclusively to representing the interests of the community banking industry and its membership through effective advocacy, best-in-class education and high-quality products and services.
