RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overdrafts, charge-offs, wires, recoveries, & due from Bank balances
- Coordinates fraud detection and anti-money laundering system
- Verifies/files CTRs
- Responds to liens, levies, garnishments, & subpoenas
- Cash Management Remote Deposit and Investment Programs
- Monthly/yearly EFTPS and yearly State tax filings
- Helps increase efficiencies within the department
- Back-up to Cashier on overseeing accounting entries, financial reporting, and Accounts Payable
- Assists Cashier/Accounting Mgr. in supporting and guiding the dept. in their absence
- Internal and external customer service, assisting with inquiries/concerns
EDUCATION &/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor in Accounting (Preferred)
- 3 years’ in Bank accounting/bookkeeping dept. (Required)
MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit/stand/kneel/bend & lift 20 lbs.
- Ability to view a computer screen for an extended period
- High level of detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to problem solve, analyze, and work independently
COMPETENCIES:
- Proficiency in advanced accounting and financial reports
- Microsoft Office and Jack Henry software
- Knowledge of Bank Regulations
- Strong oral and written communication
- Ability to maintain positive work relationships

- $47,000.00 - $70,800.00 per year
