Community Bankers Association of Illinois
26th Annual Washington Visitation

April 29 & 30, 2008
Mayflower Renaissance Hotel
Washington, D.C.

WHAT IS WASHINGTON VISITATION? Washington Visitation is an annual lobbying trip organized by the Community Bankers Association of Illinois. For more than 25 years community bankers have been traveling to our nation's capital to express their concerns and positions to federal regulators and their Illinois Members of Congress.

CAN I REALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE? "YES!" Community Bankers cannot make a difference by sitting idly by and allowing change to take place without providing input. What you think as a community banker matters in the scheme of things let your voice be heard by those who can affect the process.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING THE TRIP? CBAI sends one of the largest community banking contingents from any state to Washington, D.C. As a result, the nation's top banking regulators are eager and willing to meet with us face-to-face. The trip is also a tremendous growth experience for bankers. Up-to-the-minute briefings by expert ICBA staff from Washington provide us with vital information. You'll experience the process of government the best way by witnessing it first-hand.
