Welcoming Reception


Providing a forties and fifties atmosphere for this yearís USO-themed Welcoming Reception is Roxie and the Live Jives, which features a bass, drums, piano, and tenor saxophone. If you are a veteran of any service, you are encouraged to wear part of your military uniform, dog tags, or medals. All others are invited to dress in red, white, and blue.

Youíll dine on a variety of salad choices, including mixed greens, Caesar, broccoli, and sliced fruits. Carving stations of black forest ham, Carolina turkey, and roasted prime rib are also accompanied by a mashed potato bar and risotto bar, which features sauteed shrimp and scallops, portobello mushrooms, and caramelized onions. Satisfying your sweet tooth are bananasí foster and assorted pies, including apple, pecan, and cherry.

Donít forget to stroll among the tables laden with items from Community BancPac Silent Auction. Friendly, competitive bidding provides revenue for Community BancPac, the only political action committee in Illinois dedicated exclusively to community banks. Items auctioned off typically include tickets for sporting events, specialty items, and weekend get-aways. Itís your chance to score some bargains and to help Community BancPac.
