ABOUT THIS GUIDE

This Guide is provided by the Community Bankers Association of Illinois ("CBAI") as a tool to assist individuals who are interested in chartering new community banks. CBAI is a not-for-profit corporation and a trade association consisting of approximately five hundred (500) member financial institutions located throughout the State of Illinois. CBAI seeks to foster the chartering of new community banks in Illinois, in an effort to preserve competition in banking and to prevent the concentration of control of banking resources. To obtain additional information from or about CBAI, please call 1-800-736-2224 (or, from outside of Illinois, call 1-217-529-2265)..
