Education Catalog
CBAI is pleased to present its 2012 Education Catalog. This format allows us to describe the many professional-development programs and various delivery systems available to you, our members.

Our mission is to provide high-quality educational programs in a timely manner to individuals with all levels of banking experience. We strongly believe that the knowledge gained through these programs can result in success for you, your employees, and your bank.

One-day seminars and conferences remain at the core of CBAI’s professional-development program. Designed for community bankers by community bankers, these seminars are led by experts in their fields; most have hands-on community banking experience and utilize a variety of approaches to keep learning at its highest.

Over the last few years, CBAI has added three-day institutes in consumer, residential real estate, and commercial lending, as well as the Certified Community Lender program. We continue to offer the popular Community Bankers School (formerly The Midwest School for Community Bankers).

CBAI also works with individual bankers to bring experts to the most convenient location of all — their own community banks. Members also have access to training via the Internet. Users log-on and receive award-winning training anytime, anywhere. Community bankers have access to more than 100 highly focused Internet courses, as well as more than 400 videos and PC-based training.

A brief description of each seminar, school, institute, and training program that has been scheduled to date is contained in this catalog. Additional seminars will be added in April and August.

Brochures concerning each program are usually e-mailed eight weeks prior and mailed six weeks prior to each program. A one-page flier highlighting key aspects of the seminar or institute is faxed three weeks before the program. All programs are also described on the Internet at www.cbai.com. Registrations may be mailed, faxed, e-mailed, telephoned, or made on-line to the Association. A credit card payment option is also available. Call the Education Department at 217/529-2265 or 800/736-2224 with any questions or comments.
