The Community Bankers Association of Illinois commissioned Where Eagles Soar… A Brief History of Community Banking in Illinois to commemorate its 30th anniversary in 2004. With nearly 100 photographs, graphics, documents, and insightful text, the publication describes how community banking took root and prospered in Illinois and the organization that evolved as a result.
