About Community BancServiceService
CBSC was formed in 1982 by CBAI leadership, a group of dedicated community bankers who realized that providing CBAI members with a competitive advantage through improved access to essential bank products and services was vital to serving its mission of fostering a viable community banking profession.

The CBSC Board of Directors continually researches promising new programs, but before we roll out any given program it is subjected to a thorough review.  It must;  be available to all members regardless of size or geographical location, meet stringent quality standards, and provide an exclusive member benefit.

Often the benefit is improved contract terms. For example we may negotiate a shorter term or reduce the termination fee. In many agreements we've strengthened vendor performance requirements, making them liable for their actions. Those are things you don't often see, they are not as visable as as a discount or rebate, but they are just as important.

Once the vendor receives a CBSC endorsement the reviews don't stop. In fact, they are ongoing and sometimes are more intense. Given the intense scrutiny, few companies qualify for a CBSC endorsement.

Please call us whenever we can be of help, whatever the reason. We look forward to the opportunity to serve you.
